Elder Scrolls Online - Staying Relevant

Let’s be honest for a minute. The MMORPG market is pretty stagnant at the moment, we have some new MMORPGs coming out in the near future and far future depending on how you want to look at it. With all the hype surrounding new games coming out and with the  cheap eso gold  market being somewhat boring, what can Elder Scrolls Online do to keep relevant? It’s a pretty large scope of a question but it’s one I have been asking myself lately. There is a lot of new content coming out on a regular basis and sure it keeps players like me going for a while but what happens in a couple of years? Let’s talk about that, shall we?

One of the biggest things we can do talk about is Lore: There is a lot of unused lore ESO hasn’t used. With the upcoming Elder Scrolls 6, we can hope they will tie-in some of the lore used in that game for future DLCs/Expansions. I would love to see a future expansion with Oblivion in mind. There is a lot they can use for future content, I am just hoping they continue to do so from a lore perspective. I love playing a new DLC/Expansion for all the lore and new storyline it brings to the table, the aspect of going out and exploring has yet to get old for me and I doubt it will.

I’m hoping they really nail the exploration factor down with future content updates. No other game has given me the joy of exploring as much as Elder Scrolls Online has. I do in-fact turn off my add-ons once in a while, especially when a new DLC drops and really try to immerse myself. I like to wander at times and knowing eventually if I continue down the road I am, I’m going to run into quests or a dungeon delve or something that will keep me interested. I really don’t want that feeling to go away. Anyone else feel this way? I know addons help with finding quests hubs, etc. etc. but that sense of immersion is hard to find nowadays.

We’ve talked about the content update they have and how the game has continually grown since the release back in 2014. The game has grown massively since then and I suspect they have content ready until hopefully 2020 and beyond. I’ll keep saying this till I am blue in the face, they need to keep with that schedule and release an expansion every 1-2 years as well. The hype alone will keep players interested. I know my playtime increased when Summerset was upon us.  cheap eso gold  I think they really need to push the boundaries with expansions as well.

I’m happy with DLC adding a few zones at a time or some epic storylines as well, but I feel like if you are going to charge 30$+ on an expansion it really needs to blow people away. Summerset and Morrowind did a fabulous job of keeping me interested with all the content they added, even though The Warden had a rocky start and the Psijic line wasn’t all that it was cracked up to be but it’s improving and ZoS has proven to us they are good at what they do.

I think they really need to add some new weapon lines or revamp the current ones. I talked about this previously, I really think that a skill overhaul would bring a lot of players back and bring a lot of interest into the game. I’ve spoken very highly of the game thus far but I will admit it’s getting rather stale with the same rotations, the same skills, the same sets. I’m not saying do a Blizzard number crunch, but I do think they really need to evaluate the current skill lines and see what they can do to improve the less used ones. Everyone loves variety am I right? Personally, I’m sick of seeing destruction and bow in PvP and PvE. Let’s spice it up, what do you think ZoS?
